Product images
Use clear, relevant images that show the actual product. Avoid misleading photos, excessive cropping and images that hide important defects. Product cards are designed to preserve the image within a consistent marketplace card area.
Accurate information matters
Titles, descriptions, prices, condition, stock and location should match the item being offered. Misleading listings may be rejected or removed under marketplace standards.
A complete listing
A complete listing answers the basic questions a buyer has before contacting a seller: what the item is, which model or variant it is, what condition it is in, what is included, what it costs, where it is located and whether it is currently available.
Condition matters
Condition should describe the actual physical and functional state of the item. Scratches, dents, screen issues, battery limitations, missing accessories, repairs, replacements and other material limitations should be disclosed when applicable.
Images should support the description
Use photographs that show the actual product from useful angles. For used devices, include views that help a buyer understand the screen, body, ports, camera area, accessories and other relevant condition details.
Keeping a listing current
- 1Update the price when it changes.
- 2Reduce stock when an item is sold.
- 3Correct a specification as soon as an error is discovered.
- 4Remove a listing when the product is no longer available.
- 5Respond to material buyer questions and update the public description when the answer affects other buyers.
