Login, Email Verification & Account Recovery
A complete guide to signing in, verifying email, recovering access and safely returning to the Gadget Trade app.
Normal login
- 1Open the Login page.
- 2Enter the email address and password for the account.
- 3Submit the form and wait for the authentication result.
- 4If authentication succeeds and the account is verified, Gadget Trade redirects to the intended destination.
Email verification flow
If Firebase authentication succeeds but the email is not verified, Gadget Trade sends the account to the verification screen. Returning to Login must show the login form again instead of treating the still-unverified Firebase session as a completed application session.
After verifying your email
- 1Return to Gadget Trade or use the verification result screen.
- 2Allow the account session to refresh its verified state.
- 3Continue to the requested profile or marketplace destination.
- 4If the page appears stale, reload once and retry the protected action.
Forgotten password
Use the password-reset workflow rather than sharing your password with another person. Reset links should only be used from a trusted Gadget Trade email and the official site.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I see the verification page after logging in?＋
The account has authenticated but the email has not yet been confirmed. Complete the verification step, then return to Login if you need to sign in again.
Why was Login stuck loading after I returned from verification?＋
An unverified Firebase session can still exist in the browser. The login screen now distinguishes that state from a verified application session so the form can render normally.
Should I send my verification code to Support?＋
No. Verification codes and authentication links are private credentials. Use them only in the official verification flow.
